Jamy Whitcomb

Vice President of Health Services

Jamy Whitcomb, RN is the Vice President of Health Services for the NEEDS Center. Jamy earned her nursing degree from Endicott College and has been practicing in the field of ID/DD nursing for 17 years. Prior to getting into the ID/DD field, Jamy worked for several years as a charge nurse for a dual diagnoses unit providing medical detox to those suffering from Alcohol or Drug addiction. Along with this experience, Jamy also has worked in the field of Geriatrics and Pediatrics.

Currently, Jamy is working on studying to take the certified developmental disabilities exam and plans to become a CDDN within the next 6 months.

Jamy provides direct medical care and oversight to two Day Programs and 11 Residential homes at the NEEDS Center. Jamy is a certified MAP trainer and has been teaching safe medication administration to direct care staff members for 17 years.

Jamy works closely with our consulting psychiatrist to provide the best possible psychiatric care to those residing at the NEEDS Center.

Jamy is passionate about providing high quality medical care to those with ID/DD and enjoys teaching individuals about their health and safety.
